Statewide Indoor Mask Mandate
Effective Monday, August 23, masks are required for everyone, including vaccinated individuals, in indoor settings. This mandate will apply to most public places across Washington state, such as restaurants, grocery stores, malls, and public-facing offices. Federal Pandemic Unemployment Benefits Expire Sept. 4
Unemployment benefits that have been expanded due to COVID-19, including PUA, PEUC, and the extra $300 per week, are set to expire on September 4, 2021. This may affect your future tax rate as some claimants transfer to regular unemployment benefits and your offers of employment or re-employment.
